This beautiful painting is a classic example of the Bharni (fill in colours) style of Madhubani painting depicting the tree of life. It originates from the Mithilanchal region of Bihar, India. A sketch is made freehand using a brush. A nib dipped in acrylic colour is used to draw fine lines (textures in a shape).
